Concession Stores
Operating within leading department stores like Harvey Nichols and John Lewis, their concessions bring the Duck & Dry experience directly into high-traffic retail environments — enhancing the customer journey, elevating the in-store experience, and capitalising on our strong brand following.
Duck & Dry’s customer base is made up of a broad range of users; with the core group being women aged 25-55, although ages range from 16–60 years old; these range from regular weekly visits to the special occasion users.
The Duck & Dry concept of brand-led and experience-led blow dries has resonated with consumers and we are now London’s largest and most popular blow dry bar.
Cost of Sales
As a monoservice concept focused solely on hairstyling, Duck & Dry operates with significantly lower product expenditure than a full-service salon, with hair products accounting for only around 2-3% of total costs — creating an exceptionally lean, margin-efficient model.
As part of the franchise you will receive exclusive rights to use Duck & Dry products in your salon. Especially developed to achieve the highest performance across all Duck & Dry signature looks. This will not only enhance the service you deliver, but also save a lot of time on having to test, pick and negotiate product selection from major salon brands that all other salons use.
Each salon is staffed by experienced stylists who are supported by a floor supervisor, creating an efficient and professional service environment. All stylists enter with 3+ years of salon experience and complete a focused two-week training programme aligned to their signature style menu.
The Investment:
The Franchise Fee is £19,995.00 plus VAT per unit.

Area Developer 3 to 5 Store Cluster:
The Area Developer will secure a 3 to 5 unit development, opening stores over a 2/3-year period dependent on the number of units purchased.

Regional Developer 5 Units Plus
This will be a larger scale business, taking on a region, consisting of 5 units plus. The Development schedule will be agreed based on the number of units.
The Franchise Package includes:
- Rights to open salons under Duck & Dry brand and use all associated brand elements; includes opening brand order
- Assistance with site selection and lease terms; layout plans & full site specifications
- Signature look book styles and five-day training with head educator
- Operations manual and five-day on site shadowing of senior salon manager
- Rights to Duck & Dry professional product line and in depth product training Proprietary salon software and training Marketing & PR launch activities - website/social media.
Additional Fit Out Costs:
Standalone stores - £175 per sq ft - with units ranging between 600 sq ft - 1000 sq ft.
Department store concessions: £140 per sq ft - with units ranging between 300 sq ft - 600 sq ft.
