Signs Express (Liverpool North & Wirral), based in Bromborough, used their sign making expertise to add some colour to the brand-new premises of a social enterprise which launched recently.
The team were delighted to donate a range of signage to the New Beginnings New Ferry CIC which was officially opened on 9th March by Alison McGovern MP and Steve Rotherham, Metro Mayor of Liverpool City region.
After a huge explosion at New Ferry last year left an area severely affected and businesses and residents displaced, a social enterprise 'New Beginnings New Ferry CIC' was established.
Signs Express were on hand to offer the Community Interest Company a smart new fascia sign, window graphics and plaques to help advertise their location and supporters of the enterprise.
New Ferry New Beginnings are using their new premises to offer services such as a social supermarket, counselling, retailing recycled paint, employability help, financial management courses plus much more. Their ethos is to help people to help themselves and by offering a wide range of services to the local community, they are looking to make a difference to the people of New Ferry.
"We have been extremely proud to be involved by donating signage and supporting New Ferry New Beginnings along their journey since the gas explosion that devastated the New Ferry community. They have been a pleasure to work with and we wish them every success with the launch. It’s an invaluable resource for the community."
