After retiring from Lancashire Constabulary Graham Coulston started his Dublcheck cleaning services business.
I retired from Lancashire Constabulary after 30 years. My final posting was as Chief Superintendent,(Divisional Commander), I was in charge of one of the Forces 6 divisions. The majority of my career spent as a Detective progressing through the ranks to Trained Accredited Hostage Negotiator and Fully Accredited Senior Investigating Officer, receiving numerous commendation awards including a National Criminal Justice Award from the Home Office.
I was seriously interested in franchising as with no previous business experience the statistics for Franchise New Businesses are far better than with your own start up.
My wife and I attended a bfa Exhibition exploring many franchises and spent some time with the friendly Dublcheck Team on their stand. We found ourselves always drawn back to the Dublcheck Franchise.
With The Guaranteed Turnover and Low Investment costs and I felt the Dublcheck concept allowed me to grow into a managed business with flexibility for my family and lifestyle.
I now have a constantly developing successful business and every month I grow in confidence.
I also look back and feel I had so many more transferrable skills than I thought. To name but three:
David Innis shares his experience of of how he started his Dublcheck business.
Len Donnelly decided to seize the opportunity with Dublcheck to create a better work-life balance for him and his family.
Mike Masser become Dublcheck's first franchisee in 1994.
Starting from Zero 6 years ago and building a business employing 75 people turning over just under 400k has been amazing experience. This is only possible with the superb support from everyone at HQ who have been with me every step of the way next stop £1million.Damon Dieches
We looked at several different options and Dublcheck was the one we decided on because they actually guaranteed our turnover. That really appealed to us and it has worked incredibly well.Mike
Since I became a Dublcheck franchisee the home/work life balance has improved tremendously – I can spend more time with my wife Sue and see more of our nine grandchildren helping with baby minding when and if required. I often get asked as I have just celebrated my 60th Birthday (March 2018) when will I be retiring. My answer is why retire when I am enjoying the life with Dublcheck.Len Donnelly
