The value of the Just Cuts model has been recognised at the Approved Franchise Association (AFA) virtual award night, with 2 wins for the UK network.
The prestigious AFA Awards celebrate the best in UK franchising. Just Cuts UK won both the ‘Best New Franchise’ and ‘Outstanding Young Franchisee’ categories.
There are currently 9 Just Cuts salons in the UK.
“These awards provide more proof of the inherent value our model offers all Franchise Owners,” says David Mathie, General Manager Just Cuts UK.
“I congratulate our team on demonstrating exceptional leadership and driving new success and growth for the network during an exceptionally trying time.”
“I also thank our UK Franchise Owners for choosing to become part of the global Just Cuts family, especially Sunderland and Middlesbrough who opened their doors during the pandemic.”
“With the second UK lockdown measures now in place, we’ll continue to support our Franchise Owners daily in navigating the changing business landscape for salons, just as we did last time.”
Holly Feltham, Owner of Just Cuts Lakeside and the youngest Franchise Owner in the network, received the Outstanding Young Franchisee award.
“I’m pleased to see Holly’s exceptional drive, dedication and growth within her business recognised and rewarded,” says David.
“Holly’s energy and enthusiasm for customer service excellence plus the Just Cuts quality control, local marketing, retail and legal support has created a winning small business combo during COVID.”
Just Cuts is committed to offering industry leading value through a lucrative combination of an award winning brand, Franchise support system and the JUSTICE Professional retail range, which provides a second tier of earning potential for Franchise Owners.
“2020 has been a year that demanded we innovate to succeed,” says David. “While the health and safety of clients, stylists and their teams remains vital to the Just Cuts model, we’re continually looking towards the future for our salons. And it paid off for us during COVID-19.”
“Our Just Cuts app, allowing remote check in to avoid queues and support social distancing in salons, was used internationally by Clients during the pandemic, and our early adoption of medi-swabs and neck strips kept us ahead of UK Government mandated hygiene measures.”
“I’m excited to see our international dreams for Just Cuts becoming a reality despite this virus, and I’m proud to see small business success for our UK Owners.”

Just Cuts expand with new salon location and management promotion.
Before I found Just Cuts, I was a stay-at-home mum with two girls. When they had got to school age, I realised I had to do something for myself. It was always my dream to have my own salon so I started looking for something to fulfil that. I discovered Just Cuts, met with the Franchise Recruitment Manager and I instantly fell in love with the brand. The whole philosophy of the business was perfect.Magda Deaconescu – Just Cuts Wandsworth and Walton-on-Thames
I always thought it was a pipe dream to have my own salon but all the Just Cuts salons around the world are owned by franchisees who receive ongoing support to ensure business success. One of the reasons Just Cuts has done so well is our no-appointment system - clients can log in to our app and continue with their busy lives until it’s time for their spot in the chair.Holly Feltham – Just Cuts Lakeside
I was instantly drawn to the Just Cuts franchise model. What you get in terms of support is second-to-none and the brand is so innovative. The concept of walk-in appointments, fixed pricing and a professional quality, affordable haircare range really stands out in what can be a crowded marketplace. I’m excited for the future of my business and see this as such an amazing opportunity.Barbara Burnett – Just Cuts Stevenage
