A recent project coordinated by sign and graphics experts, Signs Express (Manchester), has been shortlisted in the Construction category at the British Sign Awards.
Organised by the BSGA (British Sign and Graphics Association), the British Sign Awards are designed to celebrate the outstanding work of sign businesses in the UK with awards presented in 15 categories.
Manchester’s extensive Citylabs sign project lent itself well to the Construction award category with Signs Express managing and overseeing several roles, including design, testing, coordinating, manufacturing and installation of the striking signage. The project saw two high level illuminated signs installed on the glass face of Citylab’s 1.0 building in the city centre, plus a ground level monolith sign complete with internal illumination powered by its own integrated solar panel.
Those shortlisted for the national awards have been invited to join the BSGA for their annual awards event held, this year, in Leicester on 9th November, where the winners will be unveiled at a gala presentation ceremony.
This award shortlisting tops off a year of celebrations for the Manchester-based sign company, with 2017 marking their 20th anniversary of providing premium sign and graphics solutions to the region.
