During the few weeks leading up to the Christmas period, InXpress franchisees in the UK shipped over 200,000 parcels in total. That means that a parcel was sent through InXpress every 4 minutes!
The work that InXpress franchises do around this busy season is crucial to helping businesses around the country (and even internationally!) meet their deadlines for Christmas deliveries. Without their tireless work, there would have been many disappointed faces on Christmas Day.
There are currently over 40,000 delivery drivers out on the roads in the UK and parcel delivery increases over three times throughout the months of November and December compared to a regular weekend. With so many parcels needing delivery, it’s clear that the market for InXpress is huge and franchisees become the crucial link between businesses and couriers, to ensure that parcels are delivered on time.
Now that the New Year has begun, InXpress franchisees are back in their offices and ready to serve their customers. The trend for online shopping has continued to increase over the last few years which means that InXpress franchisees are now busier than ever. They spend time assisting businesses with shipping and ensuring that they receive the best rates, amazing customer service and, most importantly, that their shipments arrive on time.
Ben Kirby, Franchise Sales Director, explains:
"Our franchisees have enjoyed a well-earned rest after an extremely busy December. As more and more people complete their Christmas shopping online, the demand for good quality and reliable couriers has increased, which can only mean good news for our franchisees! In addition to the regular and scalable income they receive throughout the year, our franchisees see a huge boost in the last two months of the year and, as many customers decide to use InXpress on a long-term basis, they continue to benefit throughout the New Year."

The overriding reason that customers are turning to InXpress for their shipping requirements is all about the overall service that is provided.
I chose to franchise with InXpress because it’s like someone’s got their arm around you. I also liked the fact that you didn’t need a lot to run the business. You can run it from home, an office or anywhere in the world as long as you’ve got an internet connection.Kully Sahota, Peterborough franchisee since October 2012
InXpress gives you a business concept and plan that you can run with. All you need is the right work ethic to deliver and make the business successful. There’s a model in place so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel – that was the biggest attraction for me.Lendy Mazur, Salisbury franchisee since February 2013
I’ve known about franchising for quite a while and I’m reassured by the fact that 95% of franchisees are still in business after 5 years. New businesses often fail before the initial five years.Bill Carter, Liverpool franchisee since 2008
