The awards recognise the outstanding achievements of organisations and individuals across three themes: sector leadership; sustainable and responsible business; and economic growth.
It’s a head to head competition between Recognition Express and McDonalds in the Franchise of the Year category.
Ed Kennelly, owner of Recognition Express West London, said:
"We are absolutely delighted to hear this news. We have only been trading for three years but we’ve established ourselves as a high-quality provider of promotional goods and branded clothing to the London business and education community. This is the first time we have entered an award so it was a real surprise to find out that we had been chosen as a finalist.

The ongoing support from the franchisor is very comprehensive. Good initiatives and brochures are widely available to help you promote the business. New ideas and promotions are always changing to keep pace with the marketplace. Its this approach of constantly reassessing the marketplace that helps us maintain our position. Having been away from the workplace for 18 years, I was apprehensive about starting my own business. The support I have received from Recognition Express has been exceptional. The business is going extremely well and the economic climate has not affected my business at all. In fact, people are very aware of the need to promote the business and keep their name out there.
