Local businessman Stephen Loasby is now the proud owner of two businesses; Kall Kwik and Recognition Express in Cowgate, Peterborough.
Stephen became the owner of Kall Kwik Peterborough in 1998. Since then the graphic design and print business has gone from strength to strength. He decided it was time to expand his business interests so he acquired the Recognition Express promotional items and clothing franchise for Peterborough.
"The idea just made complete sense. The Recognition Express product range fits perfectly alongside the graphic design and print services we provide to our customers at Kall Kwik. It now means we can offer a complete package to companies and organisations looking to promote their brand and is a natural addition to our business.
Acquiring another Bardon Group owned franchise appealed to me because I have first-hand experience of the top quality support provided by managing director Nigel Toplis and his team. I knew exactly what I would be getting."
Buying a franchise reduces the risk of starting up a new venture from scratch offering all of the advantages of running your own business but with support, training and back up provided by the franchisor ‘s head office team. Recognition Express has been established for almost 40 years and its tried and tested business model is at the heart of a thriving network of Recognition Express branches throughout the UK.
Said Nigel Toplis, managing director of the Bardon Group which specialises in franchising and houses both the Kall Kwik and Recognition Express brands:
"We are delighted that Stephen and his wife Lynette have joined the Recognition Express family. Kall Kwik Peterborough is one of our top performing Kall Kwik centres and I am sure that the addition of Recognition Express to their business offer will take them to new heights."
Matt Bevis, Claire Lindley & Danny Bevis purchased and already established Recognition Express business in Grimsby.
The ongoing support from the franchisor is very comprehensive. Good initiatives and brochures are widely available to help you promote the business. New ideas and promotions are always changing to keep pace with the marketplace. It's this approach of constantly reassessing the marketplace that helps us maintain our position.Kevin Andrews, Recognition Express Taunton
Having been away from the workplace for 18 years, I was apprehensive about starting my own business. The support I have received from Recognition Express has been exceptional. The business is going extremely well and the economic climate has not affected my business at all. In fact, people are very aware of the need to promote the business and keep their name out there.Jan Chidley, Recognition Express Hull and East Riding
