Mark Burton joined Spoton.net in 2014 and tells us his story:
From an early age, Mark knew he wanted to own his own business. Despite studying business studies at college and university, he ended up working for a large blue chip company but his heart was never really in it - he wanted to be his own boss.
Mark’s previous job meant he had to stay away from home most evenings. It was only when he and his wife decided to start a family that he considered buying a franchise business.
“There was no way I was going to start a family and not be there to see my kids grow up, but starting a business from scratch felt like too much risk."
