Combining top quality raw materials with state-of-the-art polymer technology, we offer a range of granite, quartz and glass surfaces that literally be fixed over existing worktops to provide an instant make-over, giving tired kitchens a new lease of life (we also supply doors to complete the look). They can also be fitted to new kitchens as a welcome alternative to laminates and other composite materials.

Lightweight, durable, flexible and versatile, Granite Transformations aren’t just limited to the kitchen either. They can be used for a whole host of purposes, including flooring, walls, shower enclosures, bathrooms, furniture and even exterior applications. The possibilities are endless.

Building on success

Established in 1996, Granite Transformations has grown into a worldwide brand with operations in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, USA, Canada and the UK and annual sales in excess of £190m. Operating in the UK since 2003, we are now looking to expand our national network of 20 franchise owners and secure our position as one of the country’s foremost home improvement brands.

Our products are unique and offer many advantages over conventional surfaces, providing a top quality finish that won’t discolour, fade, stain, scratch or burn and looks that are guaranteed to last a lifetime. Practical and affordable, they appeal to a broad market and offer franchisees the opportunity to build their own thriving business.

Every installation is custom-made, manufactured off-site and professionally fitted. This not only minimises disruption and mess in the customer’s home, but also allows a much faster turnaround. On average, tops can be fitted in just one day.

A unique opportunity for extraordinary people

Granite Transformations is no ordinary franchise and not for the faint-hearted. This is not a ready-made business you can simply buy off the shelf to turn a quick profit. It’s an opportunity to establish your own business and literally grow it from the ground up, building a reputation and creating your own customer base. You buy your own exclusive territory and are free to pursue sales within that area.

You don’t need any previous practical experience, as we will provide all of the training you need, but sales and management experience are desirable. Above all, you need enthusiasm and excellent people skills.

You will be fully hands-on and responsible for managing and controlling every aspect, from sales and marketing through to manufacture and installation. This is not one-man business. You will need to employ at least one other person and also manage your own team of installers.

Our UK franchisees currently achieve an average turnover of £600K pa. with some exceeding £100k per month. The UK domestic kitchen furniture market is estimated to be worth over £2bn pa* with more than £280m being spent on worktops alone – and it’s growing. In the last 12 months, our sales have increased by 15.5% as people invest more in their homes.

We offer a two tier franchise package:

Tier 1 Package:

This level of entry enables a Franchise Owner to come on board and focus solely on the marketing, sales and installation sides of the business whilst the fabrication and production of the work surfaces is outsourced. This means the Franchise Owner will not need to bear the cost of setting up the fabrication side of the business in Year One. However, it is expected that all Tier 1 Franchise Owners will establish their own fabrication unit within three years.

Tier 2 Package:

This gives the Franchise Owner total control of the business and involves setting up a fabrication unit from day one.

Granite Transformations will discuss the best option with all potential Franchise Owners and advise of the set-up costs of both tiers.

Training and support

Granite Transformations provide you with full training and support for every aspect of marketing, sales, manufacture and installation. We can also help with arranging finance, finding suitable premises, negotiating leases and shop fitting.

In addition to an initial three-week training programme covering all of the technical, sales, financial and operating procedures, we provide ongoing help and guidance through our Franchise Advisory and Support Team to help develop your business and maximise your opportunities.
