Business Advice Bureau ('BAB') is a UK Company and is the Licensor with International Master Licensing goals. Our employed Consultants and Self Employed Licensees supply a range of Business Consultancy/Advisory Services including for example:
- Corporate Finance (this accounts for circa 90% of our fee income)
- Business Turnaround
- Business Transfer
- Mentoring
- Franchise Development
- Management Training to the SME business market.
Offering a License Opportunity Business Structure
Our Training Opportunity is a 'self employed' sub-contract relationship with our company (NOT A FRANCHISE). You will be able to use our Nationally Recognised branding and business name 'Business Advice Bureau' if you wish i.e. the right to use our branding 'only when we jointly receive income from our mutual clients'. You can also use your own branding too.
Our license offering is free, albeit you will need to undertake our preliminary training course, for which there is a fee (stated below).
We wish to maintain an honest 'win-win' working relationship between us and secure future business together.
The Services BAB offer include:
- Unsecured Government Supported funding for SME business clients (No personal guarantees or security required - subject to eligibility)
- Asset Finance; Commercial Finance; Bridging loans
- Business Transfer (the buying and selling of businesses)
- Grant Funding
- Franchise Development
In our experience we have found that all SME businesses directly benefit from the above services, so these are our focus areas with emphasis being on processing Unsecured Borrowing (the number one need of any SME business).
Licensee Profile
Regarding the qualities and financial skills of a prospective consultancy candidate, you should ideally have primarily a sales orientation, an accounting, business finance or Senior Business synergistic background and also have the following goals:
The need to achieve:
- A good work/life balance opportunity and not simply a 'get rich quick' opportunity.
- A 'vocation' and not just a job or business opportunity i.e. being a business advisor would be seen as your 'raison d'etre' (reason for being)
The ideal profile for a Consultant would be as follows:
- Most important to be a sales orientated person
i.e. a person who has the ability to be taught: a. sales prospecting techniques b. sales opening techniques c. sales closing techniques
- Be a humble person
- Be an articulate person
- Have an 'up beat' attitude, exhibited in speech pattern and demeanor
- Somebody who works through life with a 'value system'
- Possess basic 'IT' skills
Training and Investment
Prior to the grant of a License, a two day residential training course must be successfully completed, the cost of which is £3,550 plus VAT. This fee is made up of a number of component parts and includes the following:
- Intensive two day training course,
- letterheads,
- business cards,
- compliment slips and your
- personalised BAB email set up
- Over 50 templates (including legal documents) plus the full training course on CD - for use in the business consultancy profession.
