18 people have joined TaxAssist Accountants so far in 2010

So far in 2010, TaxAssist Accountants has successfully recruited 18 people to their network. 13 have joined as new franchises whilst 4 have purchased existing franchisees businesses and 1 person has joined another franchisee as a partner with a two year plan to buy out the existing franchisee.

This brings the network up to over 200 offices, 114 of which are shop front premises.

Despite the challenging economic times, demand for TaxAssist Accountants services remains strong. They were one of only seven Top 50 Accountancy Practices that saw double digit growth in 2009 (the average was 3% growth) and they continue to perform strongly in 2010 with further double digit growth across all key indicators.

David Paulson, Franchise Recruitment Manager, explains “The growth is testament to our ever evolving business model, the shop front concept and the focus our franchisees have on marketing and business development whilst employing qualified staff to complete the accountancy work”.

The work we have done has been recognised by the industry with them winning Gold in the British Franchise Association / HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards earlier this year and being listed as the 34th largest Accountancy Practice in the Accountancy Age Top 50.

Franchisees do not need any formal accountancy qualifications as full training is given, but you do need to have a relevant career background, be self motivated, disciplined, ambitious, hardworking and keen to build a substantial successful business.

A Franchise Discovery Day is being here at their support centre in Norwich on 05 August.
