X Factor star at Cash For Kids event

Signs Express (Leeds) owners Dave & Kim Nurse were delighted to be invited to a surprise exclusive event organised by local charity Cash for Kids after supporting the worthy cause and providing a range of graphics for the Radio Aire Christmas campaign.

2010 X Factor winner Matt Cardle was starred in an intimate gig at the Mint Hotel in Leeds city centre to launch 96.3 Radio Aire and Magic 828’s Cash for Kids Christmas Appeal, which started on 1st December. People across West Yorkshire are asked to donate toys and gifts for teenagers, children and babies to the YEP-backed appeal, which runs until December 16.

They will then be distributed to deserving local youngsters with the help of social services, charities and other organisations.

Taking place for the fifth time, the appeal last year handed out £280,000 worth of gifts to more than 8,000 deprived children.

Kim Nurse said, "It was a great opportunity to meet with Matt Cardle in a very small setting and we are both in full support of the worthy campaign. My daughter was delighted she was able to meet one of her favourite pop stars whilst also supporting such a worthy campaign."
