Local Solihull MP visits the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC

Lorely Burt, MP for Solihull, took the opportunity to find out more about the UK’s franchising fraternity when she was invited to last week’s National Franchising Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham by Nigel Toplis, who runs three UK franchise companies – Recognition Express, ComputerXplorers and PopStarParties.
Nigel and Lorely have met previously on a number of occasions to discuss the potential for using the bus franchise model as a tool for economic regeneration. The exhibition provided the perfect occasion for Lorely to meet some key people from the British Franchise Association, as well as fellow franchisors and franchisees from throughout the UK.
