Flying High at the National Franchise Exhibition

"As a successful business we are always looking to bring in more high quality franchise owners" - Simon Dalziel, Franchise Director

Bluebird Care – the UK’s foremost care-at-home franchise – are on course to open their 100th office in just over four years soon after exhibiting at the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham next Friday and Saturday (October 1 and 2).

“As a successful business we are always looking to bring in more high quality franchise owners, who can see the opportunity the care sector offers and can also see why Bluebird Care is so far ahead of many other companies”, explains Franchise Director Simon Dalziel.

The company has notched up phenomenal success since launching as a franchise in June 2006, and already has a network of 95 franchised offices across the UK and Republic of Ireland and are well on course to reach their “century”.

Bluebird Care’s Managing Director Paul Tarsey said, “We have an ethos of business partnership with our franchise owners as we recognise we are only as good as our franchise owners – their success is our success.”

Success is widespread in the franchise network with three franchise owners already reporting annual turnovers in excess of £1m.

Bluebird Care’s very first franchise owner Sue Milakovic joined the network in October 2006 - actually signing her franchise agreements at the NEC Franchise Exhibition.

Sue said, “It seems a long time ago but I have absolutely no regrets. It was a risk being the first franchise owner but a calculated one and one that has proved to be well worth taking.”

Sue’s business has gone from strength to strength and she opened a second office within her Mid Staffordshire territory earlier this year.

She said, “I knew that I was buying into huge experience in this sector both in terms of care provision and franchising when I decided to join Bluebird Care and I have used that experience to grow a thriving business running from two offices”.

Bluebird Care are full members of the British Franchise Association and were Franchise of the Year award finalists earlier in the year.

Simon said, “Our credentials are there for people to see. We have a very successful franchise system based upon years of experience and a successful profitable network of franchise owners who are operating in one of the recognised growth sectors of the economy”.

Bluebird Care will exhibit on Stand H210 at the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC.
