When Bluebird Care customer Doris Jeffries was born in 1910, George V had just become king of England and in the same year, Mother Theresa was born.
Doris celebrated her 100th birthday with many cards and flowers from family and friends as well as a visit from the mayor. She received a celebration balloon from her care worker from Bluebird Care in Stafford and in the evening, Doris went out for a special family meal to mark the occasion.
Her regular care worker Chontell Smith said: "Doris is a lovely lady and seems much younger than her 100 years, as she enjoys life to the full". Chontell (right) and Doris (centre) are pictured with Emma Richards, Care Supervisor who also called in to wish Doris a very happy birthday. Doris receives professional care support from Bluebird Care, the fastest growing provider of care at home in Britain. Daily visits from her care workers enable her to enjoy best possible quality of life, while staying in the comfort of her own home.
The company specialises in working with people requiring health care and their families, alongside Social Services, GPs and Primary Care Trusts. Bluebird Care also offers live-in support for people who would like, or who need, a greater level of care provision.
