Bluebird Care helps Conrada celebrate 101 great years!

When Bluebird Care customer Conrada Rodriguez was born in 1909, explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton had just discovered the magnetic South Pole, Louis Bleriot became the first man to fly across the English Channel and Woolworths opened its first shop.

As Spanish-born Conrada celebrated her 101st birthday last week with a tea party, she burst into song with her care workers from Bluebird Care, in Charles Street, Petersfield, who presented her with a bouquet to mark her special day.

Care worker Sandy Howell said: “Conrada has a great attitude and really enjoys life to the full, which isn’t bad at 101!”

Sandy and Conrada’s other regular care worker, Rebecca Meredith, celebrated the occasion with other members of the Rodriguez family at her Petersfield home as they all enjoyed tea and cakes.
