BCR Associates franchise owner Nigel Collins launches a series of successful cost reduction seminars.

As the UK business economy remains challenging to a vast number of companies, the need to protect profits through effective cost management is as important as ever. To help directors and owners find out if they are wasting thousands of pounds a year through inefficient purchasing of essential services, BCR Associates Franchise Owner Nigel Collins has been hosting free cost cutting seminars for local businesses.

The outcome was astounding: each afternoon event attracted between 20 to 50 directors/owners, of which over 80% signed up to the no-cost, no-obligation reviews of their essential spend and of whom over 90% signed up as new customers once shown their possible savings.

Nigel Collins, BCR Associates Franchise Owner explains “I already had a wide network of business contacts who, because of the great savings I make for them, refer me onto many other companies. It seemed obvious that by holding seminars, I could explain to potential customers in “one-shot” how they could save money by managing their cost base more carefully. Our USPs are that our cost reviews are free and clients retain 100% of the savings, so once people heard what I had to say, most signed up there and then.

“The other thing I really liked about this approach is that BCR Associates head office provides a simple, “fools guide” to hosting these events from marketing, organising to presentation slides so all I had to do was follow this. In fact, directors from BCR Associates and partners from our supply chain came along and presented with me!”

Support from business networks such as BusinessLink and The Devon and Cornwall Business Council have endorsed the credibility of the seminars and each event has spawned more as senior partners/directors from companies such as chartered accountancies or banks now want Franchise Owners to host similar events hosted exclusively for their business clients.
