Growing Your Business In A Recession

According to a recent survey conducted by major accountants Baker Tilly, the number of companies considering steps to reduce their costs almost doubled from 26 percent to 45 percent.

Cost management is really about the long-term strategy. Last month, the Hay Group stated, ‘there is a right way and a wrong way for companies to take out costs.’

Since 1994, Auditel have been managing the cost and purchase of business expenditure and have shown thousands of companies the ‘right way’ to deal with obtaining best value and service. Their specialist overhead areas include communications, energy, business consumables, water and sewerage, premises management and finance related services. However they also work with market leaders across a wide range of the other essential sectors.

On Friday, 12 June 2009, Auditel hosted their third Conference and Exhibition at Whittlebury Hall near Towcester, Northants. Auditel’s partner companies for the event included EDF Energy, British Gas, Shell LPG, Travelex, Bluefin Insurance Services, Uniworld, UK Telco, Drivers Jonas, Inenco, Scottish and Southern Energy and Phase Office Supplies.

The theme was ‘Growing Your Business in a Recession’ and showcased how Auditel, together with their partners, are helping businesses take advantage of the current economic climate, and prepare for better times ahead, to emerge stronger than before.
