Auditel, the leading home-based executive franchise who specialise in cost and purchase management, have opened 2009 in great style. Head of Marketing, Laurence Knott, recalls: "In January, we enjoyed the highest number of new franchisees in any one month since we began franchising. February looks like being just as successful. What’s more with the current economic climate, our network is experiencing a growing demand from organisations that are seeking to manage their costs more effectively.”

There’s more good news. Venture Marketing Group, the leading franchise exhibition and media organisation, have just announced that Auditel have been nominated as a finalist for two of their coveted Franchise Marketing Awards for 2009.

These Awards are given in recognition of the industry's most innovative and effective marketing campaigns for products, services and franchisee recruitment and are now in their third successful year.

Winners will be announced at the Awards Presentation Dinner on 20 March 2009, at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square, and will be hosted by stand up comedian Ed Bryne, famous for his appearances in Have I Got News for You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Laurence says there are still ten months of this year to come and he believes that they will be just as exciting and rewarding as January and February have been.
