Auditel, the UK’s leading cost and purchase management franchise, are experiencing an increasing demand for their services. This is because there is no escaping the fact that the majority of businesses are feeling the heat from the slowing economy and credit crunch.
Chris Allison, Managing Director of Auditel, comments: ”More and more hard-pressed FDs are asking for our help in their struggle to maintain profitability. Businesses are realising that they simply don’t have the in-house expertise to deal with an ever-changing and complex marketplace. Outsourced cost management provides the answer.”
This optimistic outlook has attracted a host of enquiries from potential franchisees, many of whom have recently joined the network. Among the last intake (see photo) were senior management professionals from many different backgrounds. They spoke favourably about the recruitment process and the training course.
Ruth Dawe, with a senior banking background, and her husband Lawrence Fitch, with a career in retail marketing management, trained together. Ruth says: “I do not recall experiencing a recruitment ‘process’. My experience was a two-way, open exploration of the business opportunity. Open, honest, professional and caring. The values, principles and culture of the organisation were strongly evident. I felt confident the decision was mine and it was the right path for me.”
Of the training, she added: “The course was well planned, detailed, interactive and developed open, friendly team building. I feel it’s given me all the mental, physical and emotional tools to equip me on the start up of my adventure. Thank you.” Chris Allison confirms that there are still openings for more franchisees in the network and looks forward to welcoming new faces in 2009.
