A DECADE OF SUCCESSFUL FRANCHISING 1997-2007

"With an untapped market of over 400,000 potential clients, and with rising business costs, there is an increasing need for the service we provide." - Chris Allison, Managing Director, Auditel

Auditel, the UK’s leading cost and purchase management business opportunity, is celebrating a decade of successful franchising this year. Initially established in 1994 as a licensing opportunity, Auditel was franchised in 1997 and became a full member of the British Franchise Association in 1998. Throughout this time the business model that Auditel consultants operate has evolved and developed in accordance with the changing marketplace.

Business Owner and Managing Director, Chris Allison, reports: “When Auditel UK was first established, following the deregulation of the utilities markets in 1994, businesses suddenly had a lot of difficult choices to make in a complex marketplace when deciding which utilities suppliers to use. Auditel was established to provide businesses with the expertise they need to make effective and informed procurement decisions.

The basic concept of assisting companies with the purchase and ongoing management of their essential services is still the backbone of the Auditel business model today." Allison explains; “Our success is based on a straightforward fact: cost and purchase management takes time and specialist expertise, both commodities that are in short supply for many organisations. Auditel have revolutionised the profession of managing essential business expenditures. Having once looked at simple cost or expense reduction, the Auditel model now covers virtually any business expense area and not only assesses the headline spend but looks at the Total Cost of Purchase.

That is, Auditel becomes a trusted outsourced member of their clients’ management team, providing valuable expertise and specialist knowledge over many years to help their clients understand, manage and lower the cost of doing business." Allison continues “With an untapped market of over 400,000 potential clients, and with rising business costs, there is an increasing need for the service we provide.”
