Two TaxAssist Accountants working in partnership have now built their presence to two shops and three offices with plans for a further office in their territory.
Stewart Newberry and Dave Forrester currently have shops in Silsden and Keighley in West Yorkshire. These shops run alongside offices in Colne and Clitheroe in Lancashire and Skipton in North Yorkshire. They have further plans for another office in Ilkley in West Yorkshire, and to turn the office in Colne into a shop front.
The franchise has developed enormously over the last 6 years since Stewart first joined, and he has embraced the changes with relish, adopting new procedures and following developments to his advantage knowing that TaxAssist Accountants would support him all the way with his expansion plans.
Stewart says “The shops bring an increase in visibility and credibility to our business. In addition, they bring welcome client walk-ins our way. Even after three years in our first shop front, clients continue to walk in which has made us realise that a shop is the way to go because it pays for itself. Therefore it makes sense to try and open as many shops as possible.”
The shop front concept has worked so well and with the brand name now firmly established in the area, Stewart and Dave know they can grow even further. Currently they have 415 clients with a fee bank of £215,000 and going forward they know realistically they can increase these figures by 50% with the help of the TaxAssist Accountants support team and brand.
Stewart continues “I really enjoy meeting with clients and small businesses need all the help they can get, especially when times are hard. With our friendly accessible shop fronts and our cost effective approach to working with clients we can help without the high costs associated with traditional accountancy practices."
