Prior to starting my family I worked as a teacher and an Educational Consultant in the ICT sector but decided to start a franchised fundraising business after the children were born. This gave me the freedom and flexibility I had yearned for but after 5 years I wanted to expand my horizons, find something more challenging and financially rewarding.

I looked at numerous business re-sales and franchises. Spoton.net really stood out as it meant I kept the freedom and flexibility I already loved but I would also be able to build a residual income as a security policy against illness and inclement weather which had always scuppered my earnings in the past!

My only real concern was the “sales” side - I am not your archetypal sales sort and I had real worries that I would struggle. However the training was fantastic and covered all areas of sales techniques. I now love going to networking groups where I have built some great relationships and been introduced to potential customers. In addition to this, I have also had leads from head office and other franchisees as well as proving to myself that I can do telesales. The sales meetings themselves are really rewarding. If you are able to listen to people and are interested in their business, the system sells itself.

I now have exactly what I wanted – a business where I really get to know and work collaboratively with my customers, a rapidly growing residual income and the flexibility to enjoy the rest of my life.
