Auditel, the UK’s favourite cost and purchase management specialists had a bumper intake of franchisees this January.
Their team of consultants now stands at over 190. This represents growth of 190% since 2005, and with over 90% of their network renewing their franchise agreements after 5 and 10 years, the Auditel franchise opportunity is perfectly suited for management professionals wanting to run their own business, with the full support of an established and successful franchisor.
As Laurence Knott, Auditel’s head of marketing, says: “New franchisees are attracted by our award-winning robust and proven business system which puts them in control of their future. In fact, our higher earners now enjoy an income of over £200k. Our parallel success in the marketplace is reflected in the growth in turnover by over 150% since 2007, and our number of clients now exceeds 3,200 and includes many household names.”
There’s a growing trend for established Auditel businesses to recruit additional staff – sometimes family. In the new intake, Rhys Brennan, a recent university graduate, is joining his father’s South Wales practice. He explains: “My Dad is already a consultant. Having worked with him for six months, I saw a massive opportunity to be running my own business at the age of 23. I had met many of the head office team and felt comfortable and engaged in their company. It wasn’t a difficult choice.”
Another of the new franchisees is Simon Eggleton who lives in Buckinghamshire, with his wife and three children. Simon was Head of Information Solutions for a major communications network that worked closely with the public safely organisations.
He recalls: “I conducted due diligence into many franchises and stand-alone businesses. Auditel remained my benchmark against which I compared the others. In the final analysis, they offered a business opportunity that would leverage my skills, provide me with flexibility and deliver the sort of returns I aim to get from my new business.”
Auditel provides an unrivalled and wide-ranging training and support programme. It includes advice on setting up a business, technical know-how, marketing and sales techniques, and unlimited access to their coaches, trainers and mentors.
Among the new group were brother and sister Jeremy and Jo Habberley who are setting up a joint practice. Asked about the training, Jo replied: “It’s been the most informative, yet fun, week of training I have ever attended!”
